During the past strange 12 months we have been making big plans to ensure the continued place of Richard Sexton & Co as a trusted advisor based within the North Essex & South Suffolk area, with the aim of growing our practice and providing essential accountancy, tax and business services to all our clients.
Richard Sexton & Co are planning to convert to a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP): Sarah and Ken are pleased to announce that Sophie will step up from Associate to join them as a Member of the LLP. Sophie joined the firm in 1993, she is a Chartered Tax Advisor and is invaluable to the practice in keeping abreast of the twists and turns of tax and digital developments.
We congratulate Louise who has supplemented her Chartered Accountant qualification by successfully sitting the Chartered Tax Advisor exams shortly after her wedding in October 2020. Louise is developing a real interest in the fundamental importance of tax planning in owner managed businesses.
And finally, we are carrying out some renovations to our cherished office premises at St Margarets, 3 Manor Road, Colchester. Chamberlain Homes are managing the sympathetic and careful work to modernise the heating, lighting, wiring and decoration of our traditional office where we hope to combine the best character of the old with the responsive efficiency and advantages of the new.
